Our team are heading to Barton Peveril College in Eastleigh to deliver the insitu concrete works package on the schools new Art and Design centre.

Fareham based Amiri, has brought us in to complete the supply and installation of approximately 240 meters of metal deck edge trim and 500kg of loose steel reinforcement bar, which completes the tie interface between the precast concrete hollowcore flooring units and the steel frame supplied by Weldrite Structures.

Our work also includes the supply and placement of the in-situ concrete pours around the precast concrete hollowcore flooring joints. The overall suspended floor area of the precast concrete hollowcore flooring units is 1200 sq. meters, supplied by Spanwright.

Precast floors are usually installed during the construction of the steel frame. Beresford’s specialise in providing the trade package that follows this – which is stitching the floors together with certified in-situ concrete and shuttering and loose reinforcement when it’s needed.

Our library of simplified connection details between the interface of the steel frame and the precast floors makes it possible for us to quote cost effective solutions on big schemes which often saves our clients time and money when we’re brought in at the start of the project.
