- The Gizmo Beam Puller enables the operative to move multi-tonne slabs safely and easily
What is a Gizmo Beam Puller?

About the product
When installing pre-cast units, there is a gap between the slabs where the crane’s chains were originally attached during positioning. The beams need to be pulled in tight with no gaps between them.
Traditionally the fixing operative stands in front of the beam and levers it into position using a steel bar. This puts the operative in danger as he is in front of the leading edge, standing on a single brick or thin steel and could easily fall off causing serious injury.
As the operative is in a perilous position while moving the slab, he tends to use the bar between knee and waist level. This helps him keep his balance, but doesn’t give him a great deal of leverage.
The Gizmo Beam Puller keeps the operative away from the leading edge and since he is standing in a safe position, he can use the full length of the bar, massively increasing his leverage and enabling him to move multi-tonne slabs with ease.
