- The Shutter Clip fits instantly into the joints between two pre-cast beams, sealing it off without the need of any power tools, timber or screws.
What are Shutter Clips?
Shutter Clips provide a quick and easy way to shutter joints in pre-cast concrete beams. See our step-by-step guide below which explains how they work.
Locate the joint and place the Shutter Clip with the widest point at the bottom.
Gently squeeze the Shutter Clip together to slide it into the joints between the beams.
Check that the Shutter Clip is flush with the top of the beam and tight to the beam edge.
The joint is now neat and complete.
About the product
To meet modern building regulations the joint between two pre-cast beams needs to be filled to a full depth right to the ends of the slabs.
The Shutter Clip is a pre-formed shaped board with integrated flexible wings that instantly seals the joints between pre-cast beams, allowing concrete to be brushed right to the beam ends, without the need of any power tools, timber or screws – and without concrete loss.
