We’ve shared our progress throughout – and these final few photos show our near completion of our disproportionate collapse and grouting works package for IHP – a JV between Vinci Construction and Sir Robert McAlpine. It’s been an incredible project to work on, and brilliantly managed.
In all, we supplied and installed around 3km of metal deck edge trim, 20km of loose steel reinforcement bar and the supply and placement of more than 800 tonnes of in-situ concrete around the precast concrete hollowcore flooring joints. This completes the tie interface between the 28,000 sq. meters of precast concrete hollowcore flooring units supplied by Oranmore and the steel frame.
When the carpark is handed over in the spring of 2024, it will be used by staff working at the adjacent Royal Stoke University Hospital.
