Tom Prince, Senior Quantity Surveyor, Willmott Dixon

We were delivering a £20 million project for the Department for Education to deliver a new three-storey building, the Christ Church, Church of England Secondary Academy in Yardley Wood, Birmingham. We contracted Beresford’s Flooring to do the progressive collapse, grouting and tying in works of the precast elements.

Beresford’s are market leading and represent the best value for money. They’re flexible, approachable and experienced. They were especially helpful in the early stages of the project and would come to our office and discuss our requirements with the design team, so we could get the design exactly right and efficient for on-site activities.

The team is very professional. They have all the required paperwork for Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, their quality management systems are in place, and their operatives’ competencies are well documented.

What they do better than anyone else in the industry, is show a good level of interest in what we want to achieve – and had true care and attention in delivering a good product. They hit all the set deadlines and there were no problems, which is incredibly refreshing.
