This carbon neutral office building will eventually become the new home and headquarters for Nottinghamshire’s County Council. Morgan Sindall has awarded Beresford’s the contract to provide the insitu concrete works package to the steel framed construction. It’s one of several disproportionate collapse projects we’ve worked together on in recent months.
Beresford’s are supplying and installing the metal deck edge trim, loose steel reinforcement bar, and the insitu concrete pours around the hollowcore flooring joints which completes the tie interface between the precast concrete hollowcore flooring units supplied by Oranmore Precast and the steel frame supplied by M J Robinson Structures Ltd.
Precast floors are usually installed during the construction of the steel frame. We specialise in providing the trade package which follows this – stitching the floors together with certified in-situ concrete and shuttering and loose reinforcement when it’s needed.
