Beresford’s are working with groundworks specialists GRK Civils for this Durham based project. They have brought us in to deliver the insitu concrete works on behalf of their client and main contractor BAM UK & Ireland who are rebuilding St Leonard’s Catholic School.
We offer three insitu concrete works packages for precast floors on steel framed buildings – and this is our Tier Three Option. Our expertise is within the zone of the precast floor, so although we don’t provide screed or structural toppings, we do provide the perimeter shuttering within each of these packages.
For this school in Durham, we’ve supplied and installed metal deck edge trim, reinforcement bar over the precast concrete hollowcore flooring supplied by Lynx Precast and the insitu concrete pours around the hollowcore flooring joints. We also put in place the associated tie requirements to the supporting steel frame supplied by BSB Structural Limited.
