We’re proud to be partnering once again with main contractor Willmott Dixon. For this project we are supporting them with the phased redevelopment of a new net-zero-in-operation campus at Wigan and Leigh College.
The Beresford’s site team are delivering the full in-situ concrete package, with works currently underway on installing metal deck edge trim and placing loose steel reinforcement, which you can see from the photos. We are also carrying out the in-situ concrete pours around the precast hollowcore flooring joints and the steel frame supplied by Leach Structural Steel.
This three-storey, 116,400 sq. ft teaching block has a target completion of 2027. When it opens, more than 3,400 students will study at the £49m facility.
