We’ve wrapped up our final concrete pour at Wigan and Leigh College, helping bring to life what will soon be a modern, low-carbon teaching space for thousands of local students. As the saying goes, a picture paints a thousand words – so here are a few final shots of our team and the work we’ve delivered.
Our package was completed in phases as part of our Tier 3 in-situ concrete works. This included installing metal deck edge trim, placing loose steel reinforcement, and carrying out the in-situ concrete pours around the precast hollowcore flooring joints and the steel frame supplied by Leach Structural Steel. It took tight coordination, early starts, and a brilliant effort from everyone on site.
