They’ve brought us in to do the disproportionate collapse works on Grindley Hill’s 1700-space multi storey car park in Stoke that they’re developing for University Hospitals of the North Midlands. When it’s finished it will be used by staff working at the adjacent Royal Stoke University Hospital. It’s due for completion in the spring of 2024.
Our works include installing 3km of edge trim, 20km of reinforcement bar over 28,000 sq. meters of Oranmore precast planks and the insitu concrete pour around all the hollowcore flooring joints – 29 pours in total. We’re also installing the associated tie requirements to the supporting steel frame, which was supplied by James Killelea & Co.
